5 New Years Resolutions Every Feminine Women Needs to Have

With the new year approaching everyone is starting to make their list of resolutions. If one of your goals is to start or continue on in your femininity journey, here are 5 resolutions every feminine woman needs to make in 2022. 

1. Prioritize Self-Care: Make a resolution to prioritize and invest in your physical, mental, spiritual and emotional self-care.  Some ideas may include setting a daily goal to journal or meditate. Find and join a support group or individual therapy. Schedule regular daily naps. Set a goal to take a weekly luxurious bath with candles, wine, bubble bath and lavish body creams. Make a point to go outside more and walk in nature. The list goes on and on.

2. Level Up Your Dating Life: Make a new year's resolution to level up and better your dating life. Make a goal to meet more men in person,  make dating a priority, create a list of goals and boundaries you have for your dating life, create a quality online dating profile, be open to dating different kinds of men, put more effort into your appearance, and only enter into healthy relationships, filled with love, care and respect for each other.

3. Upgrade Your Appearance: Make a resolution to upgrade and work on your appearance. Find style inspiration, clean out your closet and buy new pieces. Plan out outfits the night before and make a goal to put a little more effort into your looks especially when you are just out running errands. Usually, this is an area where a lot of us slack and get lazy, so we just stick with sweats and unflattering clothes and hairstyles. So make a point to not do this.  Also, set goals to upgrade your date looks. Whether you are in an established relationship or dating new people, make a point to wear nicer pieces like dresses and heels instead of just jeans and sneakers or flats.

4. Clean and Declutter Your Home: In terms of messy and cluttered homes, studies have found that clutter can have negative impacts on mental well-being and lead to things such as stress and depressed moods particularly for women. In a particular study, women who described their homes as cluttered experienced higher levels of cortisol, the primary stress hormone. In another study, it was found that clutter can disturb your sense of home and disturb your ability to interact with others. Thus having a clean and clutter-free home is important particularly for women, so make a resolution to clean, organize and get rid of unwanted possessions in 2022 and clean and decorate your home.

5. Do One Random Act of Kindness Once a Day: As a woman on her femininity journey, it's important not just to focus on yourself. Make a resolution to be kinder and bring joy into the lives of others. Particularly, you can make a resolution to do one random act of kindness at least once every day in the new year. You can pay for the order of the person behind you when you are buying your morning coffee. You can volunteer at a senior home. Give a stranger a genuine compliment, be there to help a friend move. There are so many kind things you can do.
